Tensions continued rising between Russia and America even still. Since i can't think of anything else to compare it to and i already referenced a pimple, i guess have to be plain and educational ( unless i think of something later).The atmosphere was filled with fear. The atmosphere was thick. Americans were so frightened of communism. There is a name for this immense fear, the "Red Scare". People were, in modern terms, spazzing out as if its a disease they could actually catch. But, this was one of the most evident results of the tension between Russia and America.
